Jewel Bear takes great pride in creating the finest quality diamond jewelry pieces. The Jewel Bear Quality Assurance covers the authenticity of diamonds, gems and metals used as stated on your invoice and Certificate of Authenticity.

 

DIAMOND GUARANTEE

Jewel Bear provides you with a Lifetime Diamond Guarantee. Each diamond has a unique combination of its cut, color, clarity and carat weight. Jewel Bear diamonds are sourced mainly from South Africanmines and graded by international diamond laboratories such as the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) or the European Gemological Laboratory (EGL); or the Scientific Grading Laboratory (SGL).

 

Most diamonds larger than 0.5 carats have a unique identification number, which is laser inscribed on the girdle. This identification number and the diamond’s unique characteristics are stated on a Certificate of Authenticity, assuring your diamond matches the diamond certificate and authenticity report (for life). If the characteristics of the diamond you purchased from Jewel Bear are different from the characteristics stated on your Certificate of Authenticity (or the diamond grading report), we will exchange it for another diamond of the same, or better, characteristics as stated on the certificate, at no charge. Should we not be able to replace the diamond, we will refund the purchase price in full.

 

Please note that this lifetime diamond guarantee is not valid if the diamond was handled or repaired by another company or in the event of accidental damage that can affect the diamond.

 

JEWELRY WARRANTY

Jewel Bear uses only the finest quality platinum, gold and precious metals in our jewelry pieces. We warrant all jewelry will be free from any defects at the time of purchase, with a lifetime guarantee on platinum and gold metals.

 

As with all high-quality jewelry pieces, Jewel Bear items require regular care, maintenance and cleaning to keep them looking beautiful and their best. In order to maintain your lifetime warranty, you are required to have your jewelry inspected at any Jewel Bear store every 6 months from the date of purchase. This inspection is free of charge, including any service or repair work that is necessary, excluding any fair wear or accidental damage. This warranty is not valid should another party conduct any work on your Jewel Bear piece.

 

SHIPPING POLICIES

Jewel Bear offers secure local and international shipping with insurance. For added security, we only ship our products during business hours. Any shipping and local charges such as tax, VAT, custom duties and clearance charges are for your account.

Certain countries are excluded due to their internal complications. It is your responsibility to please confirm that the item you would like to order can be shipped to your country before completing the transaction.

 

We offer two shipping options:

 

OPTION 1: PERSONAL DELIVERY

We offer the option to have your jewelry order delivered straight to your door, using our trusted safe-hands door-to-door couriers. Delivery to main centers across USA usually arrive the next day. If you live in an outlying area, shipping may take 2 – 3 days to arrive.

 

OPTION 3: INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Jewel Bear offers international shipping. Please contact us for more information on this service and to obtain a quote and estimated delivery date.

RETURN POLICY

 

We hope you will be delighted with your new jewelry piece. If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it to us in its original condition and packaging, within 30 days of purchase. We will then inspect the item and provide you with a refund or exchange on the original purchase price, within 30 working days. Returns are delivered back to Jewel Bear at your own cost and any cost incurred in receiving the item will be deducted from the authorized refund.

 

Items Exempt from this return policy include custom made and bespoke jewelry items, and items with special finger sizing or where the item cannot be worn or used.

Q: Is international shipping safe?

A: Yes. All our shipping options are secure and include insurance for your peace of mind. This is provided that your country allows the shipment of jewelry or diamonds. It is your responsibility to confirm that the item you would like to order can be shipped to your country before completing the transaction.

 

Q: Can my purchase be shipped to my door?

A: Yes. We offer this service to business addresses only, and not residential addresses (apart from the USA).

 

Q: Can someone else sign on my behalf for the delivery of my purchase that has been shipped to me?

A: To ensure the safe delivery of your Jewel Bear order, only the person whose name is reflected on the invoice can sign for the release of the purchase. Should this not be possible, special arrangements can be made where we receive a copy of the ID and a letter from the purchaser authorizing the acceptance.

 

Q: Is VAT included in shipping?

A: VAT is excluded from international shipping. Local shipping includes VAT. 

 

Q: How long will it take for me to receive my Jewel Bear order?

A: This depends on your location. For main city centers, you can expect to receive it the next day. For outlying areas, shipping may take 2 – 3 days to arrive. International shipments take approximately 8 – 10 days (depending on customs clearance in the country the purchase is being cleared into). Please note that these shipping times exclude manufacturing lead times of the jewelry piece.

 

Q: Are there any additional costs for international shipping?

A: International shipping requires you to pay customs and import duties and only once you have paid this fee will your parcel be released to you. Each country’s import duties are different, so please contact your customs office directly for more information.

 

Q: I purchased a Jewel Bear diamond engagement ring, but it is not to my fiancé’s tastes. Can we exchange it for a different engagement ring of the same value?

 

A: Yes, you may return a purchase to us in its original condition, within 30 days from the date of purchase for a full refund or exchange on the original purchase price. Please note this is only valid only on stock items and not custom-made bespoke items nor items with special finger sizing or where the item cannot be worn or used.
